Hey everyone, my name is Josh Manotas and I am the Head Cook of Stick Pig BBQ. I have met some of yall and I need some info from ALL of yall. I am in the Natchitoches Area Jaycees and we are putting on a IBCA Sanctioned BBQ Comp in the end of June this year. I am not looking for commitments but I would like to know how many of you would seriously attend this event once we get it on the calendar. The tentative date right now is going to be either June 4-5 or June 18-19. As of right now I dont have accurate info on prize money, more to follow later on that. However it will be on the Cane River in Natchitoches, LA and will be the standard Chicken, Brisket, Pork Spare Ribs. Also there will be a peoples choice comp. There will be vendors ranging from beer to funnel cakes and entertainment for kids as well as live bands. Just shoot me an email at stickpigbbq@hotmail.com or reply to this post on here. Thanks all!

Josh

Josh, I think either weekend would be possible for the Black Cloud Smokers.  If you have it on the 18-19 there would be less competition and a better chance for us to win.LOL Cheesy

sweet fellas! the reason i needed to know this stuff is because in order for me to pass this off to the board of directors of the Jaycees for final approval they want to make sure we are not gonna have like 3-5 teams only show up. But I have gotten alot of good feedback so I think we are on. More to follow next week on the exact dates. As soon as I get info it will be emailed out to everyone and posted on here.
