HELLO! There are 11 teams signed up for Baton Rouge as of today.  They have gotten a State Championship proclamation from the State.  Just 4 more teams make it a 1st year qualifier.  Any takers?

Congratulations to Reserve Grand Champion Tee Wayne Abshire of Tee Wayne's Cajun Cookin' and Grand Champion Danny Christian of Southern Exposure - and to all who got a call! This was a really fun contest! I hope no one else got caught in the rain that I ended up driving home thru!

Congratulations to all the teams that cooked in Baton Rouge -- C'est Fou Cajun Cookers had a GREAT TIME at our first IBCA Event --- and glad to meet all of you guys - we're going to try to do as many of these events as we can...I read this was a State Championship cookoff -- and we didn't know that until now in reading this post -how does that work??   Points add up thru out the year or what??  I guess we didn't do too bad for our first time out .. They said 6th place overall... 5th in chicken, 6th in brisket and 8th in ribs.. Now to figure out how to get that First Place position.. ha... Thanks again, and we'll see ya'll soon - C'est Fou Cajun Cookers will be cooking (AND RACING OUR LAWNMOWERS) in Waco, Texas at the Triple Crown BBQ Cookoff.. www.triplecrowncookoff.com  June 25th & 26th  Tammy & Brandon Cormier

Brandon - being a State Championship means that the GC's name will be submitted to the American Royal, Kansas City Mo and a chance in the LA lottery for the Jack Daniels draw (the hardest event to get into)

Congrats on your first outing -- good luck on the smokin' trail
