Do they have a meat inspection on Friday?

Any idea on how many teams usually enter?

they do inspect sometimes - it is just up to the promoter - you must not preseason or marinate your meat before arriving on site.

There are usually around 20 - 25 teams that participate in this event however we have had more.

I will be the IBCA Rep at this event so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks Lynn. It's my first competition, and I'm trying to figure out when I need to show up and the schedule of events that follow. It's my understanding we can set up friday evening, then turn-ins follow on Saturday.
