How will you be assured that everyone at the comp will use that specific meat, provided by the promoter, specially if the cook dosen't like it.
I like to pick and choose my comp meats and sometimes have to go to several stores to get what I like.
I'm not sure I would be happy unless I could look at it and pick out what I want and even then?

I usually avoid those deals where the promoter wants you to feed the public, if they provide the meat or not. I have enough to do trying to get my stuff preped, cooked and turned in without having to entertain the public at the same time.
