Heard from the promoter of this contest (y'all may know it as the Think Safe. Think Family. BBQ Cook-off) - it was in Baton Rouge last year. This year, they're down the road a bit in Gonzales at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center - same place as the St. Jude contest (usually held in March). The promoter tells me they currently have 25 teams! Gonzales is outside of the flood zone, and flooding shouldn't be a problem until next week, anyway - so come on and join us!!

Worried about the wind at this one at first, but it turned out to be a really good time!
