Many of y'all might remember Mike Uher from Ocean Springs, MS - he and his wife Davi assisted at several contests in LA. Mike was diagnosed with cancer of the lymph nodes in October and was recently admitted to Gulfport Memorial Hospital. The cancer is VERY aggressive and his wife says there is little that can be done at this point. Please join Andy and I in sending Mike your prayers and good thoughts!

Just got an update from Davi - she says Mike's doctors decided to re-evaluate him, and have now decided to treat him with radiation. His prognosis is better - Davi sounded relieved. Thanks to all for the prayers and good vibes!!

Just heard today from Mike himself - he'll be out of the hospital this weekend. He says the treatment worked and his facial tumors are shrinking - he's hoping to get back to BBQ soon!
