im looking to hold a bbq cookoff at next years hog festival ....  anyone have any ideas on how to set this up ?  what i need to do ? etc etc
festival is last weekend in march

go to the www.ibcabbq.org and click on to sanctioning - it will give you a lot of information about how to sanction an event and then

Where are you located and what are the exact dates of the event?  One thing that you don't want to do is get on top of an established
event.

March 31st in the small town of Temple, Oklahoma ... its a small town right on the red river.   we had our first annual hog festival this past march, and we are expanding our horizons come next year ...   we hire bands to come play, and set up alot of vendors....  had a blast this year and look to make it even bigger and better next year ...      thanks for your help, you are appreciated
