Hey All Cookers,

Our last Cookoff was canceled due to Hurricane "IKE" and I now have confirmation that we can hold it at the KOA in Conroe on HWY 105 There will be twice the added money this year due to an overrun in time. This should be a nicer cookoff due to the cooler climate.

I need everyone who is going to enter to please contact the KOA @936-582-1200 and tell the your booking for the IBCA 3rd Coast cookoff on the 5th and 6th of December.

Some have already sent their money for the cookoff in September and I still have your checks, please let me know if you want me to send back your checks.

What's the cut off date for being a Third Coast member in order to be eligible for the added money? Has that come and gone already?
We are always looking for a c/o in Dec.

REMEMBER - Make your reservations at the KOA camp prior to the event to insure that you have a space.

Lake Conroe KOA 19785 HWY 105 Montgomery, TX 77356 800-562-9750

Also that your membership was to be current as of August 31, 2008 to be eligible for the added Third Coast money.

Good Luck to all

Who is going to attend the event?  I talked to several teams at Bryan this past week-end that said they planned to attend.

We look forward to a great event!

Only 6 days away and cookers are calling to reserve RV sites and Cottages by the hr.

We have set aside a small group of cottages close to the hillside room where your judging will take place. Those cookers looking to have lodging should call and reserve for the next closest hotel is 5 miles away.

Although we set aside locations to set up your cookers your reservations are greatly appreciated. We have many sites with 70ft of concrete, but many are much shorter. Early bird gets the worm so call with how much space you think you will need.
