Isn't funny how everything seems to taste better cooked outside and in Cast Iron?  Here is one of my favorite recipes using a dutch oven.

Peach Bake
Note: These instructions assume you are pretty good with a Dutch Oven. If not, this would not be a good recipe to learn with because of the high sugar content it will burn easily.

4 cups  Bisquick
1 cup milk (any is fine but whole or Buttermilk seems to work better)
1/2 cup sugar
2 Lg Cans Sliced Peaches in heavy syrup
1 stick butter or margarine
ground cinnamon or nutmeg to taste
Combine Bisquick, Sugar, milk and syrup from 1 can of peaches. You may need to add more bisquick if the batter is too thin or more milk if too thick. It should be about the consistency of  a thick cake batter.  Pour the remaining syrup and peaches  in the bottom of your Dutch Oven and then pour the batter on top. Crumble the butter and sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the top and cover with lid. Bake using the same method you would with bisquits or other breads for about 12 to 15 minutes. Enjoy
