First , I would like to thank everyone that came out to support us in all of our efforts to raise money for the kids at St. Jude , without the cooking teams it would not be possible.
We want to let everyone know that Mr. Doug Crumbrough and Mr. Dennis Green also known as (BBQ Brisket Co.) raised and gave to Mr. Charles a check for St. Jude , $ 11,792.34 a BIG THANKS to these guys. They say everything's bigger in Texas well in this case there (HEARTS) are very big and we really appreciate them for all of there help.
Also would like to thank Tee Wayne and Doug Ritter for helping us raise $3,400.00 at our Calcutta. Ritters BBQ donated a bag of rub to everyone who bid over one hundred dollars , and to top things off they will be donating a BACKWOODS SMOKER for next years event. Doug is a very good auctioneer in case anyone needs him, we could not have made it with out him. A big thanks to them.
Also a thanks to Mrs. June Coco for donating $2,462.00. She sold praline's to raise this money (that's alot of praline's) thanks to her for all her hard work. Over the weekend with everything included we raised a total of $ 39,351.84. We want to thank the judges for working really hard and doing a great job! Thanks again to everyone , everybody is a winner at this event. See ya NEXT YEAR !

Sean:
It was good meeting you and seeing all my friends there! Just wish that my BBQ was as good as the contest was run, it was real smooth. Also glad that we were one day in front of the really windy and cold weather!
