This is a great event in a nice park with lots of shade trees.
Texas State Championship
$100 entry fee for meats
$10   jackpot beans
$4.00  cobbler (must be cooked in an 8x8" foil pan)

The Widow's Son Cooking team will be there! From the looks of the weather, we are going to need waders! Man I know we need the rain, but this is one time that I hope the weatherman misses the forcast big time! If you know where the concrete restroom is down from the Tennis court, we will be between it and the road. I will be next to a Chuck Wagon.

Well, Terrell was another good time! Friday afternoon was not much fun! Plenty of rain and mud! But, all turned out well. Lynn did her usual great job of keeping everything together. Everything went smooth in spite of the weather. Congrats to all that made the walk.
