The time is almost here for the c/o in the "Boro" and just remember that the location has been moved 2 blocks east on Franklin street. There is a large parking lot on the left that can hold several cooking teams and the street will be closed off as well. One thing you need to be aware of is that the city will have to open the street back up Saturday evening, but if we can plan ahead hopefully we can get everyone that will be staying over Saturday night in a spot where they will not have to move. The parking lot is in good shape and very level, but if you park on the street be sure to bring some extra blocks to get your camper level along the curbs. If you have any problems or question let me know and I'll do my best to help you.
The Hill County Go-Texan folks have raised a butt load of scholarship money for the youth of Hill County for several years now and it would not happen without the support of all their brothers and sisters in barbecue. Thanks for your support in the past and in the future!!!! We look forward to seeing you in Hillsboro!!! It's gonna be a good one!!!!!

Randy glad to hear that you are going to make it -

Bubba - how many teams do you think that we are going to have this year I've heard several weren't coming that I expected to be there.

We will have a good time however many are there - we have always enjoyed this event.

Well... It was a good week end in the "Boro" for a cook off... Many thanks to everyone who came out and supported the youth of Hill County... Hats off to Lynn for all her hard work in head judging for us. Congrats to Ronnie Wade on his Grand Champion finish... All I can say is "Look out Houston"... He's back and looking for a "3 peat"...
